The woman behind the leather & how it all began.
I have been leathercrafting for over 10 years now experimenting with various types of leather. I am self-taught and when I started this little hobby of mine there was very little information on how to do things and what I would need to do them properly. When I first set on this journey not very many people wanted to share their skills. It wasn’t until later that YouTube became popular and people were more open to sharing and teaching others these skills. Up until then, there was a lot of trial and error but eventually I got there. I am always learning more from experienced people who share various techniques which makes it fun and exciting.
This podcast takes you on a little journey of why I became drawn to leather and how it is evolving. We go through understanding what influences my work as my style is quite niche, yet many see beauty in what I have been able to create.
